How To Break Out Of The Information Overload And Start Making Money On The Internet!

It always happens. Here’s the cold hard truth:

It doesn’t matter if you’re getting started to making money online or an experienced marketer learning new stuff, information overload is one of the biggest stumbling blocks you’ll come across.

I’ve experienced this myself, and in surveys to my subscribers, this IS the core issue being raised by many well-meaning internet entrepreneurs.

You’ve got to realize that everyone starts from scratch, gurus or non-gurus. No one was born with a laptop, at least not me.

From my personal experience, here are 3 key factors that will help you avoid information overload…

1. Focus And Stay Focused

Stop whatever you’re doing now and listen to this…

Decide on a specific making-making model and focus on it.

First you must know what you want to do, and how to do it. Once you’ve decided, concentrate on your goals and work on achieving them.

When you’re focused this way, you’ll be committed and motivated to get results. More importantly, there’s a clear direction guiding you towards your goals, without fear of being side-tracked.

Focus on your target, excel at it, dominate it and create a miracle out of it. Don’t let anything take your concentration off. Whatever helps in driving you faster towards your target is good, whatever takes it away can be avoided.

Here’s a mantra I live by, and it may just help you:

“Resolve in your mind that you have no option for failure, that success is the ONLY outcome you desire”.

Do this and you’ll be driven beyond your imagination.

2. Create An Internet Business Plan

Here’s why some people find themselves losing focus frequently:

They don’t have a CLEAR plan drawn up for their internet business.

This is critical - if you want to succeed, treat this like a real business. Most people treat this like a hobby or something they can ‘try’ out, and when results don’t appear, they blame everything else but themselves.

If you’re serious about your business, it’ll be serious with you.

Think about what you want, and create your internet business plan to guide you along. Invest in a whiteboard and write out a step-by-step plan for your own internet business.

Then hang it somewhere you can’t miss and focus on it. This may sound simple, but it’s extremely powerful.

3. Acquire Essential Skills And Resources

You can’t bake a tasty cake if you don’t have the right flour or knowledge.

Similarly, you can’t run a profitable online business without the right skills and tools required to run it.

I’ve seen many people complain about not knowing how to do this, do that. However what they don’t realize is, this knowledge can be learned for free on the internet.

For example, if you don’t know how to register a domain name or create a website, do a search in Google and pick up the skill.

There are also many tutorials and videos you can learn from, and I’ve even packaged one called Ultimate Website Videos which you can download for free.

Remember, everyone starts from scratch and you’ve got to start from somewhere. The cool thing is, once you learn these essential skills, it becomes a knowledge you can leverage upon for life to make you money.

The basic resources required for a profitable internet business include web hosting, autoresponders, ad tracking etc. Again you should INVEST in these as you can’t run away from them.
